Overhead Or Ground Placement

Built to fit what works for your space

Made in the USA

Built to last

The Quest 165 is a long-term solution for commercial moisture removal. This American-made dehumidifier removes up to 165 pints of moisture. Commonly used in warehouses, indoor gardens, gyms and plants, it’s versatile design offers ducting, overhead or ground installation, and daisy chain options from one single remote humidistat.

Maintain a Healthy Environment

This Quest dehumidifier can be controlled by its onboard dehumidistat or with an external controller. An easy-to-use humidistat features a manual dial you can adjust to meet your needs. Use Dry (20-30% humidity), Normal (50% humidity), Humid (80% humidity). To control your dehumidifier remotely or control multiple units from one place, use the Quest DEH 3000 R.

Daisy Chain Option

For easier wiring to an external control, this dehumidifier features a low voltage terminal block. This wiring system allows for overhead installation to save space.

Additionally, you can wire up to six of these models together for use in large warehouse spaces. All six will be running off the same sensor on the Quest DEH 3000 R and need to be in the same room. The Honeywell H46C 1166 Wall Mounted Humidistat is another option to control the dehumidifier remotely.

Easier Moisture Removal

Humidity can happen anywhere–not just next to a floor drain. Add the Quest Universal Condensate Pump move moisture horizontally and vertically. It offers the easiest moisture removal available and mounts directly to the unit, increasing flexibility in where your dehumidifier can be installed. The pump features a low profile to fit the unit's horizontal design. It is long-lasting, unobtrusive, and provides multiple options for the location of the dehumidifier.

Best Practices to Reuse Condensate Water

Quest dehumidifiers produce very low TDS water with neutral pH. This water is safe to reuse for all plants, even consumable ones. To get the most out of this feature:
  • Run your dehumidifier if it's been idle first:

If your dehumidifier has been sitting idle, run it for three days before using any condensate water from it. (Dehumidifiers that are allowed to sit for more than a couple of days should be dried out as completely as possible, to discourage mold growth.)
  • Test condensate - Be sure it's free of contaminates:

Contaminate levels should be low enough and well within acceptable limits as long as your dehumidifier is in good working order and has proper filtration. It is always a good idea to test condensate water for heavy metals, nitrates, and bacteria – and state law may require you to if you are a commercial grower.
  • Keep your dehumidifier and filter clean:

Quest dehumidifiers will produce condensate water that can be used as-is, as long as you keep the filter in place and clean regularly. Dust, bacteria, and other pollutants can contaminate condensate water if the dehumidifier's filter is absent or not maintained properly.
  • Keep your dehumidifier running continuously and recycling water:

Why? Because just using and reusing condensate water over and over again keeps it clean. Only if you always use a high-quality, clean air filter during operation, the constant recycling of the dehumidifier's condensate water discourages mold growth. Keep the filter in place, and follow the filter guidelines for it; clean or replace the filter as directed.

Additional Features:

  • Fan Only Runs When Dehumidifying:

The fan only runs when the compressor is running and the unit is dehumidifying.
  • Air-to-Air Heat Exchanger:

Cooled, dehumidified air helps cool incoming air, reducing energy output.
  • Operation Temperature:

Operates in temperatures between 56 – 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Cool & Humid Conditions:

The unit will continue to operate even when it is cool or humid outside.
  • Gravity Drain:

Can be drained via gravity drain to an outside source or acceptable indoor drain.
  • MERV 11:

Uses a standard MERV 11 filter.
  • Auto Restart:

During a power outage, the unit will automatically resume operation.
  • Mounting Brackets:

Suspend the unit above the growing area with Quest hanging brackets.
  • Ducting Options:

Quest supply collars and return collars are available for ducting healthy air into different rooms than where you place this high-power dehumidifier.
