Curing Cannabis

Proper curing allows you to store your cannabis for long periods without worrying about mold or the loss of cannabinoids. Place the trimmed buds into an airtight container, packing them loosely. Adding humidipacks will help maintain proper humidity. Wide mouth quart-size canning jars are the most commonly used containers for this process. During the first week, open the containers several times per day and let the flowers “breathe” for a few minutes. After the first week, you will only need to open the containers once every few days. Your flowers can be cured in as little as two weeks, or as long as six months.
