Important Air Compressor Requirements:

This air hydraulic pump requires a source of compressed air. A minimum of 5 CFM (cubic feet per minute) at an operating PSI of 100 is essential. Many smaller compressors may advertise 4-5 CFM, but often this is at a much lower PSI (e.g., 35-40 PSI). This lower PSI will not provide sufficient pressure and volume to operate the pump effectively. Check your compressor's CFM output at 100 PSI to ensure it meets the minimum requirement.

For optimal performance and faster press cycle times, especially for high-volume operations, we recommend a compressor with 10-12 CFM at 130-150 PSI. An under-capacity air compressor will result in significantly slower pressing times; in such cases, the manual hand pump option might actually be faster.
