Amblyseius swirskii is a highly effective generalist predatory mite used for biological control of whiteflies, thrips, and broad mites. Well suited for greenhouses, indoor gardens, nurseries, and commercial growing environments, these beneficial mites actively search plant foliage for pest eggs and immature stages.

Because A. swirskii feeds on multiple pest species and can establish populations before pest pressure becomes severe, it is an excellent choice for preventative pest management and early intervention as part of an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program.

Application Rate Recommendations for Amblyseius swirskii:

• Preventative: 1-2 per square foot.
• Moderate Infestation: 2-4 per square foot.
• Heavy Infestation: 4-8 per square foot.

How-To use Amblyseius swirskii for Best Results:

• Apply at the first sign of pest infestation.

• Store in a cool place until use. Store for a maximum of 2 days at 60-68 °F (15-20 °C)

• Apply directly to the plant foliage.

• Apply when temperatures are above 90°F or below 55°F. 

• Used within 18 hours of receipt.
