Versatile Application for Every Garden:

Down to Earth All Purpose 4-6-2 is incredibly versatile and can be used in a variety of gardening applications:  

• Vegetable Gardens & Flower Beds: Prepare new beds by incorporating 2.5-5 lbs per 100 sq ft into the top 3 inches of soil. For new transplants, add 1-2 tbsp per planting hole. Side-dress established plants with 2-4 oz monthly during the growing season.  
• Tomatoes: Give your tomatoes the boost they need! For new 4-inch starts, mix 2-3 tbsp with backfill soil. For 1-gallon transplants, use ¼-½ cup per plant. Side-dress established plants with ¼-½ cup monthly.  
• Containers & Houseplants: For new plantings, add 1-2 tbsp per gallon of soil. For established plants, lightly mix 1-2 tbsp into the soil surface monthly.  
• Trees & Shrubs: Spread 1 lb per inch of trunk diameter around the base, extending to the drip line. For new trees, mix 1-2 cups with backfill soil.  
• Row Crops/Acreage: Apply 750-1,000 lbs per acre, adjusting based on specific crop needs.
