Application Rates:

• Vegetable Gardens & Flower Beds:
  • New Gardens: 1-2 lbs per 100 sq ft, mix into the top 3 inches of soil in spring or fall.
  • New Transplants: 1 tbsp per hole, mix into soil and water well.
  • Established Plants: Lightly mix 1-2 tsp per gallon of soil into the surface every other month during the growing season.
• Containers:
  • New Plantings: 1-2 tsp per gallon of soil or 1-2 lbs per cubic yard, mix thoroughly.  
  • Established Plants: Lightly mix 1-2 tsp per gallon into the soil surface every other month during the growing season.  
• Lawns:
  • Spring & Fall: 10 lbs per 1,000 sq ft, water in well. Enhance results by applying after aeration.  
  • New Lawns: 10 lbs per 1,000 sq ft, mix into the top 3 inches of soil before seeding or sodding.  
• Row Crops/Acreage: 75-150 lbs per acre. Apply in early spring (pre-plant or with seed) or in the fall (post-harvest). Can be applied to all crops.
