Growing Tips for Happy Dragon Carrots:

• When to Plant: Direct sow outdoors from April 15 to July 31
• How to Plant: Sow seeds ¼” deep and ½” apart in rows 20” apart
• Germination: 7–21 days depending on soil temps—keep soil moist and shaded for best results (row cover helps!)
• Sunlight: Full sun please!
• Soil: Loose, well-drained soil is key—no hard clumps or rocks
• Water: Regular and consistent watering will keep carrots tender and sweet
• Harvest: Pick when mature and purple-red on the outside. In hot weather, harvest promptly to avoid tough roots; in cool fall weather, let them hang out and sweeten naturally. Cover with straw to delay freezing if needed.
