General Hydroponics Rapid Rooter Replacement Plugs

Rapid Rooter Plugs for Seeds and Cuttings

General Hydroponics Rapid Rooter Replacement Plugs provide a soilless starting medium for germinating seeds and rooting cuttings. Made from composted organic materials bonded with plant-derived polymers, the plugs balance moisture retention and aeration to support early root development.

• Two propagation uses: Start seedlings or root stem cuttings in the same plug medium.
• Preformed planting hole: Provides a place to insert seeds or cuttings.
• Flexible transplanting: Move rooted plugs into soil, coco coir, or hydroponic systems.
• Pack options: Choose packs of 50, 100, or 1,400 replacement plugs.

Getting Started

Moisten the plugs before use, then place your seeds or cuttings in the planting holes. Keep the plugs moist without leaving them submerged in deep water. Once roots emerge through the sides or bottom, transplant the entire plug with the plant.
