Yellow Sticky Traps for Flying Pest Monitoring

Bug-Scan Yellow Sticky Traps help you detect flying pests early and track changes in pest activity around your crop. These double-sided sticky cards attract and capture insects such as whiteflies, winged aphids, adult fungus gnats, thrips, and leafminers.

Each card measures 25 x 10 cm, approximately 10" x 4". A printed grid makes trapped insects easier to count, helping you compare results during regular crop checks.

Placement and Monitoring

Begin using traps at the start of cultivation. For monitoring, the manufacturer recommends 40 traps per hectare, approximately 16 traps per acre.

• Separate the cards slowly before installing them.
• In low-growing crops, hang traps just above the plant tops. In tall crops, position them no more than 30 cm, approximately 12", above the plants.
• Adjust trap height as the crop grows.
• Count trapped insects at least once a week to track pest activity.
• Replace cards when they become saturated with insects.
