Wheast Green Lacewing Food – 1 lb Powder

Supplemental Food for Adult Green Lacewings

Wheast provides a supplemental food source for adult green lacewings, helping attract beneficial insects and encouraging them to remain near feeding areas in your garden or greenhouse.

The 1 lb bag of dry powder mixes with honey or sugar and water to create a paste for feeding stations.

Mixing and Application

1. Combine equal parts Wheast and honey or sugar.
2. Slowly add water until the mixture forms a thick, creamy paste.
3. Spread onto cardboard or wooden stakes, leaving uncoated crawling spaces so insects can feed without becoming stuck.
4. Place feeding stations in the garden or greenhouse. Feed in early morning, late evening, or when releasing beneficial insects.

Application advisory: The manufacturer advises against spraying this mixture directly onto plants.

Storage

Protect dry powder from light and moisture. Refrigerate leftover prepared paste and use within five days.
